What am I auditioning for? Is this a reality show?

This is NOT a reality show. This is a nationwide search by Nickelodeon and Sony BMG to discover new talent to develop.

I'm 22, but I look younger. Can I still audition?

We are less concerned with your actual age, and far more concerned with how old you look. If you feel you look between the ages of 15-21, then we'd love to see you.

What should I bring with me to auditions?

Please bring a recent headshot/snapshot, a resume (if you have one), 16 bars (approx 30 sec) of a pop song of your choice to sing a cappella, and your awesome personality!

Should my song be uptempo or ballad?

Your song should showcase YOU! You will have only 16 bars to impress us, so make sure you choose a song that shows off your talent and ability.

Will I be able to use back-up vocals or a backing track?

No. Your 16 bars must be able to be showcased a cappella.

What will I be asked to do for the Open Calls?

You will be asked to sing 16 bars of a pop song a cappella.

If I can't make it to the listed cities, can I still audition?

Unfortunately at this time, we cannot accommodate anyone's audition outside of the listed cities.

How long will I be at the Open Call?

As this is an open call, there is no telling how long the wait times might be. We will be running on a first come, first served basis. Please plan accordingly.

How early may I line up before the call time?

The venues where auditions will be held cannot accommodate pre-audition lines. Please respect their policies. You will have a chance to be seen and heard if you are in line on time.

What should I wear?

Show your personality at all times during the audition process. This includes your personal style!

When will I be notified of information concerning callbacks?

You will notified of any information concerning callbacks when you have passed the first round of auditions. Any further questions will be answered then.

I am a girl. Will there be auditions at a later date for me?

At this time we are holding open calls to find male talent only.
